after photoIreland festival my photo book “why was i born in russia” is going to be on display at belfast photo festival on 4-14 august, 2011. in addition to the photo book display, an extract from the series “the house of baba yaga” will be a part of an evening film screening curated by harry hardie from HERE and hosted by Blurb.
my photo book “why was i born in russia” published by blurb has been chosen by a jury to be on display at the book & magazine fair during photoireland festival (july 15-17, 2011). judges: moritz neumüller, curator of photoireland, angel luis gonzalez, director of photoireland, rachel stanley, blurb marketing. the book will be also shown at belfast photo festival in august.

i am showing the bits and pieces of the baba yaga series in a group show to be held on may 10 through may 15, 2011 in paris in an exciting new exhibition space (presided by raymond depardon) dedicated to photography called le bal located at 6, impasse de la defense, paris 75018.
