Trusted Advisor
Executive Coaching in Paris, Private Advisory for Leaders. A discreet, high-level coaching partnership for complex decisions and moments of transition
A private leadership partnership
Some situations cannot be addressed within a standard coaching format. When you carry real responsibility, your decisions affect people, structure, and long-term direction, and the space to think clearly tends to narrow precisely when you need it most. Conversations inside the organisation remain partial, and the feedback that reaches you has usually been filtered before it arrives.
Trusted Advisor is designed for these moments. It is a private coaching and advisory relationship for leaders who need a place to think without constraint, to test decisions before they are made, and to gain perspective with a level of clarity that day-to-day pressure rarely allows.
What Trusted Advisor Is
Trusted Advisor is a six-month engagement that gives you continuous access to an external perspective, grounded in executive coaching practice and informed by systemic thinking, Jungian insight, and visual and symbolic reflection. You bring the situations you are actually facing, and we work on them directly, without theoretical detours or generic frameworks.
Who This Is For
The format is relevant if you are a senior executive or founder navigating a complex leadership situation, preparing a strategic move or transition, working through internal tension or unclear dynamics, or facing decisions of high impact with little room for reflection. Many of the leaders I work with operate in demanding environments where visibility is high and the room for visible doubt is low.
What You Gain
The work creates a space in which you can clarify complex situations without pressure, identify what is genuinely at stake beneath the surface, test decisions before acting on them, see relational and systemic patterns more clearly, and reconnect with your own judgment. The objective is straightforward: better decisions, taken with more clarity.
How the Work Is Structured
The format combines structure with flexibility. Over six months you have regular one-to-one sessions in Paris or online, direct access between sessions when an urgent situation arises, and focused work on the real decisions and live challenges in front of you. The rhythm and intensity adjust according to what you are facing, so the work stays anchored in your current reality rather than following a fixed curriculum.
A Discreet Partnership
This work is confidential by nature. It functions as a thinking space outside your organisation, with no agenda beyond your own clarity, free of internal politics and the need to perform. It is a place where you can speak freely and think precisely.
Begin with a Conversation
The engagement begins with a private, confidential conversation in which we assess together whether this level of partnership fits your current situation. If it does, we define the terms from there.
Why This Partnership is Different
Undivided attention. I take on only a small number of Trusted Advisor clients at any one time, so the engagement never competes for my focus and never asks you to accept a compromise.
Discreet availability. You are not confined to a fixed schedule. When something arises between sessions, you reach out and you receive a considered response.
Strategic reflection. A trusted external perspective notices what those inside the situation cannot, and listens for what tends to go unsaid in the room.
Adaptive format. You choose how we work, whether in a session, by voice, on a walk, or during a longer retreat, so the engagement stays fluid and genuinely human rather than fitted to a template.
A space without performance. This is a setting in which you do not need to manage how you appear. You can think aloud, be yourself, and be met as you are.
The engagement runs over six months, and the number of places available each year is deliberately limited.
Yury Li-Toroptsov Trusted Advisor to senior leaders
I work alongside business leaders as a confidential professional partner in situations that call for sustained clarity, resilience, and informed decision making within complex organisations. Within a structured coaching framework, I offer a reflective space in which executives can examine strategic challenges, identify blind spots, and strengthen their capacity to act through periods of transition, uncertainty, or growth. The work follows recognised professional coaching standards and rests on confidentiality, collaboration, and goal-oriented support.
I am based in Paris and have worked with leadership teams in organisations such as [confirmed client list]. My approach integrates systemic coaching, psychodynamic insight, and creative methods, helping leaders stay effective while developing a durable balance between the demands of performance, the capacity to adapt, and a sense of meaning in their work.
Coaching is provided within a non-therapeutic professional framework and does not replace psychotherapy, psychiatric care, or medical treatment. When a situation falls outside the scope of coaching, I recommend referral to an appropriately qualified healthcare professional, in line with the EMCC Global Code of Ethics.
